Appointments & payment
How can I book an appointment?
Use the Kingston or Portmore Fresha link to see live availability and book immediately. If you need GelJunkies to review a preferred date, service or special request, submit the website appointment-request form.
Is a website appointment request automatically confirmed?
No. Your request is pending until GelJunkies reviews it and sends an approval email. Your appointment is secured only after approval and payment of the required reservation fee.
How much is the reservation fee?
The reservation fee is J$2,500 and must be paid within 24 hours of approval. It may be transferred once within the same month, subject to the booking policy.
How can I pay after approval?
Your approval email will include the approved amount and payment instructions. You may pay through WiPay or transfer directly to the registered GelJunkies & Co. Limited business account, then reply with your receipt.
What happens if I am late?
Please call or WhatsApp us as soon as you know you may be late. A grace period of 10 minutes is allowed, and communication helps us determine what can still be completed without affecting the next client. Arriving later may require your service or design to be shortened. If there is not enough time to complete the essential service safely, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and a new reservation fee may be required.
Where are the studios located?
The Kingston Studio is at Unit #9, 18 Balmoral Avenue. The Portmore Studio is in Phoenix Park Village. Both locations operate by appointment.
Nail services & policies
What is the difference between Gel-X, BIAB and Hard Gel Overlay?
Gel-X uses full-cover soft gel tips to add length. BIAB or Structured Gel reinforces the natural nail with a more flexible overlay. Hard Gel Overlay provides firmer structure and durability on the natural nail. GelJunkies can guide the best system after considering your nails, lifestyle and desired result.
Should I arrive with bare nails?
Yes, unless you have booked the correct removal service. If product is already on your nails, add removal so enough appointment time is reserved.
Can my Gel-X set be refilled?
Refills are offered only on qualifying GelJunkies sets within the approved maintenance window. After three weeks, book removal and a fresh application. Final refill suitability is confirmed at the appointment.
Can I choose or change my design on the day?
Please share and approve your design before the appointment. GelJunkies does not offer freestyle appointments, and day-of design changes cannot be guaranteed.
Do you offer early, after-hours or Sunday appointments?
Premium early and after-hours appointments may be available. Sunday appointments are limited and handled by request. Check the current booking menu or send an appointment request.
GJ PRO Skills Lab
Which training courses are currently available?
Gel-X Foundation and BIAB / Builder Gel training are currently accepting requests. Hard Gel training remains listed as coming soon.
Can I register without purchasing a student kit?
Yes. You may choose the training-only option if you already have the required professional products and tools. A list of required items will be provided before the class. Your products must be suitable for the course and available for use on the training date.
When will my student kit be prepared?
Student kits are prepared specifically for registered students. Your kit will only be ordered or assembled after your course request has been approved and the required deposit has been paid. Preparation time may apply, so your class date will be finalized with enough time for the kit to be completed.
How do I reserve a training date?
Submit the training-request form with your course, preferred date and time, delivery method and kit choice. Skills Lab will review the request and email you. A J$15,000 deposit is required after approval to reserve your place.
GJ PRO products
How do I place an order?
Select your preferred shape, length, quantity and delivery method on the GJ PRO Shop page. You can then send your completed order request through WhatsApp or email. An order request is not a final purchase. GJ PRO will confirm availability, delivery details and the total amount before payment.
How do I pay for my order?
After your order and final total have been confirmed, you will receive instructions for paying securely through WiPay. Please do not send payment before receiving confirmation. Use the same name and contact information provided in your order request, and save your payment receipt.
Do you deliver islandwide?
Yes. Islandwide delivery may be arranged through Knutsford Express, subject to service availability for your area. Kingston and Portmore delivery options may also be available. The delivery method and applicable fee will be confirmed before payment.
Can I collect my order in Kingston or Portmore?
Approved collection may be available in Kingston or Portmore. The collection location, date and time must be confirmed before payment.
